PETITION against NTL's 0845 CS number
Jun 29th, 2006 at 6:24pm

THE PETITION
Like many others, I refuse to pay for any sort of 0845/0870 number. When NTL introduced their customer services 0845, usually for faults with their services, why should we have to pay them?

http://petitionthem.com/default.asp?...etail&pet=3018

Thank you.

The number 0800 183 0123 still works. It is answered as the "sales enquiry line", but there is a menu to get through to customer services.

There is a message saying "Sorry, this number no longer works..."

I believe 01256 751046, 047 and 048 work though.  Wink

I have Signed the petition ~ stuff 'em is what I say !

BTW

I have just checked and the following numbers take you through to NTL Customer Services.......

(1) 01256 751 046

(2) 01256 751 047

(3) 01256 751 048

On each occassion I got straight through to CS with no problems and as normal I was asked to supply my NTL A/C number or NTL telephone number.

I am not sure if they are AREA related or not, as previously suggested in other listings and other areas on this site.

Cheers .......

I contacted NTL today using their geographical number01612962516. But the lady whom I spoke to was not very kind.My telephone line has not been working for days.I tried the 0845 but all you do is seat and wait for more than half an hour without anyone answering your call. The lady said the number was for NTL employees only. She took my details and wanted to know where I got the number from.I told her that what was more important was fixing my phone service since I have been paying bills every month for over 3years.She then hung up on me.Do you think she is trying to press charges against me.We they succeed considering the Freedom of Inforamation Act principles and guidelines.

Hi Joseph,

I have moved your post to this existing thread as I felt it was better off here than the FOI section.

I believe NTL have implemented 150 (free) for their telephone customers.  Obviously if you don't have their landline service.

The Freedom of Information (FOI) Act only applies to government bodies so therefore it doesn't apply to NTL.
