All numbers listed in the database for techguys are not working anymore. Techguys gone greedy, when you ring all the alternative numbers in database ( 01522 502000 ,01623 689806,01623 689807,01623 689808 , 0115 988 3156, 0800 0232300 ) it will ask you to ring 0844 800 6020 . Any help to find other alternatives is most appreciated. Gudman

Thanks for this.
For the record, the responses from those numbers are as follows:
01522 502000 not recognised
01623 689806 temporarily out of order
01623 689807 temporarily out of order
01623 689808 temporarily out of order
0115 988 3156 recording; "Sorry, but the service no longer exists…"; redirects to Tech Guys on 0844 number
0800 023 2300 recording; "Sorry, but the service no longer exists…"; redirects to Tech Guys on 0844 number (very similar/same wording to 0115 988 3156, but different voice
I have removed all of these numbers from the database.
In the unverified listings, there is 0800 023 4701 which is answered as The Tech Guys. You could try that.
A search of the forum for other instances of "Tech Guys" returns
this posting from January this year in which I found 01727 202113 at DSG's head office to be The Tech Guys. Unfortunately, this number is now temporarily out of order.
Alternatively, from my work on this forum, I understand that the are Tech Guys within each branch of PC World, so it may be worth looking for a number to speak to your local branch.
Whatever you try, let us know and tell us what response you get. I will list any alternatives you advise work sucessfully.
