BT Broadband Talk - Billing
Aug 31st, 2006 at 7:14pm

I have a BT account for a landline which bills me for line rental and BT Broadband and I pay by DD.

I also have BT Broadband Talk. I have just received a six page bill for the grand total of 17 pence with a separate account number.

Spend 30 minutes negotiating multi-choice options and listening to some pretty dire musak until I finally got to speak with a human. My request was to combine both bills, but this is apparently not possible.

OK I will pay by credit card. Card Number taken, expiry and start date etc. Sorry it will not take a sum less than £1.

OK take £1 and I will be 83 pence in credit. Card Number taken, expiry and start date taken again. Sorry it will not take a sum less than £5.

No I am not going to set up another DD for an account that will be pence every quarter! OK I will enter a refund of 17 pence on your account and you will get another bill sayng you owe nothing!

Suggestions please how I can prevent going through this every time.
