call 18866's billing (and other providers)
Sep 4th, 2006 at 6:07pm

i have now asked 18866 several times to send me their invoice before they try and take money from my bank account.  they have not responded at all. Angry

is this usual for these type of companies?

who are currently the other providers of the same type/costs? - i am particularly interested in cheaper calls to uk mobiles (from an ntl line)

any help much appreciated

They dont offer this facility thats why the calls are so cheap, its a no frills service.

Their sister company www.18185.co.uk is cheaper.4p connection 10p peak/evening 2p weekends.

Also you can use www.0844calls.co.uk 0844 428 2525 4p a minute. But NTl will charge 6p connection.

Also have a peruse of http://wakeup.to/cheapercablecalls

Yes but the OP clearly states he is a NTL Customer so their cable rates apply. Were you not aware they have two sets of rates?

Cable Rates here: http://www.18185.co.uk/mobilerates.php

1899, 18185 and 18866 invoice on the same day every month, 2 months or 3 months depending on your use.

Why not just check your account online a few days before your invoice is due?  By doing so, you'll know approximately how much they're going to call from your bank account even if the 'your invoice is ready' e-mail notification does not arrive in time.

I think this attitude to bills is pretty standard.
Try 1899 for cheaper calls to landlines and mobiles. 3p connection fee only and 10p per min to mobiles from landline.
