MacDonald Hotels Request for Bookings

MacDonald Hotels are actually asking you to spend, spend, spend on an 0870 number so that you can make a booking with them. I find that hard to believe

If this a request for an alternative number to the rip-off one, then what is wrong with the one in this site's database?  Roll Eyes

So sorry, I am quite new to this Say No To 0870 and only marginally checked by entering the MacDonald number on the Home page to which it told me there was no alternative. Any guidance as to how to get the number from the Database would be most helpful!

Most of the time it's best to search by company name. This is because companies may have several 084x/087x numbers for the same purpose. They then promote these different numbers in different places such as in newspapers and on TV and radio. That way they can see how effective their marketing has been by analysing the number of calls to each 084x/087x number.

The geographical (01/02) number for Macdonald Hotels listed on Say no to 0870 is shown on the company's website as the international alternative.

Thank you for your help - you certainly are a mine of information. I saw the 01/02 numbers this morning when I was searching but didn`t think I could use them. I like the bit about how they can do a survey using the 0870 numbers to see what the response has been. Not sure that I agree with it though. But all thanks to you for helping a newbie Smiley
