Hi All,
I can say for once, I am shocked at the excellent customer service I recieved from British Gas, I found the Geographical number for British Gas Switch Board (0238 0824100) and asked for the Customer Service team in Southampton... I got through to someone in 10 seconds, and he was excellent and resolved my issue that was outstanding for over a year (When I first left British Gas)
I asked about the bad publicity they had over the last 2 weeks on Watchdog... (Refering to awful customer service, and up to 120 Minute Call Queues!!!) He said, 'You have come through to a sepcial complaint line, I do not know how you got the number but since you are connected now, I will deal with your enquiry' also 'The complaints you are refering to as seen on watchdog, were all dealt with the other call centre, and to be honest I am not suprised at the complaints'
I was shocked but If you are with British gas, use the number above!!! Dont call the call centre as you will get awful service... (In my personal opinion)
