I'm all for good customer service and would only normally contact a company if either I wanted information on / purchase goods or services, or if I had a problems with my goods or services.

So what would happen if every single company who use and 084/087 number suddenly made no money from these numbers, and they were either free for us to call (or formed part on inclusive or free minutes)

I bet they would get thing right first time, and the wait times to speak to someone would drop overnight!

I recently called sky I thought I'd try the 0870 number they wait time given on the recorder message was 48 minutes (of course I did'#nt wait) the 0800 number was answered in 7 minutes I wonder why that was???????
