I am most concerned at a recent development within the National Health service.  Evidently the mental health teams for older people in Barking Havering and Redbridge are changing their phone numbers.  These  now all begin with 0844.  There do not seem to be alternative numbers and the people who need to access these numbers are often pensioners on limited incomes.  It is difficult to understand the reasoning behind this.

Or, in common with a lot of 'government services' these days, how to rake in yet more money from the plebs without (in most cases) them realising it.
