Too soon to give up. I managed to obtain their geographic number. It is:

Tel: 0161 476 7030

Otherwise you can phone their Head Office in Leicester on freephone number 080009369361, tell customer services that you cannot dial 0870 numbers for whatever reason (e.g. because you are abroad) and they will put you through.
