Sheffield Wednesday FC Tickets [now Ticketmaster]

The only number I seem to find for Sheffield Wednesday is '08709991867' and then press option '2' for the ticket office. This costs a small fortune as you have to wait in a que for ages before reaching a mamber of staff to book tickets. I would be grateful if anyone could supply me with an alternative number.

The Sheffield Wednesday ticket line has changed to 0871 230 1867 which is operated by Ticketmaster. See reply #5 onwards.

I've found here mentions some geographical fax numbers and provides a fax number of 0114 221 2401 for the ticket office.

I'd therefore recommend trying nearby numbers like 0114 221 2400 0114 221 2402/3/4, etc...

Failing that, A 192.com search revealed a few geographical numbers that may not be the ticket office but if you act dumb and say you chose the wrong option on the 0870 (they won't know you haven't) then they may transfer you. The geographicals are:

0114 221 2121 (? possible switchboard)
0114 221 2447
0114 221 2407
0114 221 2375

She didn't seem too thrilled about me calling the direct line, so if anyone else wants to book tickets using that number I suggest don't call during busy periods! Thanks for the help.

Sheffield Wednesday have this week changed their ticket office phone line to Ticketmaster, due to high demand. The number is: 0871 230 1867. I have had a look at the listed number for Ticketmaster, but I wasn't sure if this number was a special Sheffield Wednesday number. I am eager to find an alternative as Ticketmaster charge £1.76 admin fee per ticket plus 50p per booking, so paying extra for an expencive phone number would not be appretiated.

The number 0114 221 2404 is reportedly for the ticket office, but that will be for the Wednesday Ground.

SWFC/Ticketmaster Booking Number - 0871 230 1867

Sheffield Wednesday FC have moved their phone ticket booking over to Ticketmaster. The number SWFC give for booking tickets is: 0871 230 1867 (£1.76 admin fee per ticket plus 50p per booking), I don't want to pay 10p per minute on top of those fees so I would like to find an alternative. The Ticketmaster numbers listed in the database work and I get through to Ticketmaster however they will not process my SWFC booking. Can anyone help?

If you search in our database for Ticketmaster, you will find nearly ten different numbers for them. As they don't have a specific line for an event, but instead 0870's route to a group of numbers, you stand a good chance of getting one that will take your booking.

If you wanted the business, what would you do ?? Roll Eyes

and from above, yet another reason to book it on the website & NOT by telephone . . .
