Can anyone help please?   I am trying to find a geo number for the above (used by CIS for motor claims), I have tried Google & even the CIS switchboard in Manchester only has the 0845 number (I have informed their employee that it is NOT local rate & given him a little talk on the situation).

I need a geo number because CIS have messed up (surprise surprise) on cancelling a claim regarding a now scrapped car but have not passed on the info to the above so I keep getting further letters and I don't see why I, as the victim of the damage anyway, should pay out to rectify their mistakes.

Any help gratefully received.   I have also made a no of formal complaints about CIS's use of 0845 nos & will post the responses soon.

Eureka!   Thanks Dave.   The 01454466000 took me to a switchboard in Bristol which put me through to Manchester but they told me the Bristol no is 01454 466004 which I have just tried & it does work, they admit they are having teething problem.   Perhaps you could add this to the database as a verified no for Co-operative Legal Services in Bristol for other people to use?   Thank you.

After a few exasperating days I was delighted to find most of the geographic numbers I need listed on this website. Very many thanks to all who have made this information available. I have found a free phone number 0800 022 3510 this is an alternative number not listed on the database, please let us know how you get on

I've found an existing thread for Co-operative Legal Services which says they are based near Bristol and the local STD code is 01454.

Also, note the similarity between the 0845 number in the first posting is the one after the one given to you. More than just a coincidence me thinks. It's probably the case that they give different 08 numbers to different customers (e.g. of different policy types), but that any alternative may well work for all.

More clues come from the database. The search engine works by finding text within entries. I used it backwards by entering the word into the Company Name box. It returned all entries which contain that word.

Within the results, I then searched for entries pertaining to the Co-operative. This can be done using the Find function in your browser (usually Ctrl+F).





There are a number of phone numbers here and they would suggest that numbers in this office are 01454 466xxx. There is also an entry with the 0845 number immediately before the one requested today.

I tried the following and found that they are answered with recordings which say what they are and when they're open:
