[size=14][/size] I read a few weeks ago that since DVLA switched to 0870 they have made a staggering £800,000 for customers that wish to tax their vehicles by phone!

What do they do with this extra money, the road tax keeps increasing, the roads are a shambles and if you need a 4x4 then they hammer you for even more tax?

I tax my car online and would rather walk 2 miles uphill and tax at a post office than do it by phone, this could be a problem for someone disabled and not online so can't look for an alternative geo number!!
