Per Second Billing
Mar 5th, 2007 at 7:54pm

Hi

Is there a service that offers per second billing to a mobile from a landline.

I am using 18185, and perhaps I've been unlucky, but I don't think so.  This is going to be £30.00 per month bill, and I would rather not use a mobile phone to make the calls.

1min 30sec = 17p
0min 53sec = 11p
3min 09sec = 29p
2min 34sec = 23p
1min 50sec = 17p
0min 28sec = 11p
0min 40sec = 11p

Today total spent = £1.19 for 11 mins 4 secs

Hi

If you phone the mobile no via  the 0844 or 0871 gateway numbers BT and for example Tiscali Talk will charge you per second.
Cheap gateway nos here.

http://callchecker.moneysavingexpert.com/ukcallchecker/index.php

The Duration Rounding details on Bt are here P28 http://www.downloads.bt.com/pricing/SpecialisedNos.pdf

But , of course, you will get charged as soon as you connect to the 0844 or 0871 gateway, even if the mobile is switched off,or rings without answer.
Hope this helps.

Alan

No. BT charge per second billing for NTS numbers. But there is a 3p connection fee.
