Dave, I think we are at cross purposes here. […] You see, I do not want to make a claim, just ask their advice and I can't find the geographical number.
I have found some more information and amended the above post.
The address is the only address shown on the page for the terms and conditions. It shows the company name and PO Box address of the company that underwrites the policy. Thus, this is the provider of the policy I mentioned above, and is where calls about the policy will go.
Indeed, the 01420 number you called will probably go through to the old provider and not Atlas itself. So I am on the right track and it is a contact number at the White Horse office we are looking for.
The address is a PO Box, so doesn't exist in so much as it isn't the building where the company is based. Nevertheless, a Google of its post code,
"BB4 0BQ" reveals several other clients that White Horse underwrites policies for.
The other clue in the PO Box address is that they are based in Wavell House in Rossendale. The dialling code there is 01706, the code for Rochdale.
A Google of
"wavell house" rossendale reveals other businesses based there. They seem to have post code either BB4 4NB or BB4 4PA.
I note that MyTravel have offices there for Airtours and others and that White Horse is infact part of
MyTravel Group. A search of our database for
mytravel reveals an entry for Airtours with an 01706 number: 01706 745900 It says it's head office, although Googling it reveals it might go to a nearby office and not Wavell House. Nevertheless, they may be able to put you through. If this doesn't work, there are quite a few other 01706 numbers I can see on Google connected with MyTravel.
