Have just received a call that should have been 0208*** ****, or even +44208.....but however it started +49208.
+49 is Germany. The company concerned is definitely UK as it's 2 miles away.
Unfortunately guy on the phone knows nothing about the setup.
The number itself is correct for the company concerned. Drop the international bit and they answer.
Any thoughts?
I have a US virtual number through Lingo which is forwarded to my UK number. On caller display my party's number is always shown as '0' + the US area code ie. without the 1 country prefix.
Maybe both of these are routing issues?
