Does anyone have an alternative geographical direct line for the recruitment number?

In the past, I have tried phoning the switchboard at HQ and sometimes they put you through (if you are persistent) but in more recent times, they now point blank refuse to do so, citing that they cannot dial out, that they simply do not have an alternative or don't transfer calls. Is there any truth to this, or is it simply an excuse? I think it's the latter.

If anyone could help, then I would be most grateful as it's costing me quite a bit to ring that bloody 0845.

What's the point in a switchboard that doesn't transfer calls then? Roll Eyes
