Many thanks for that, the background is as follows :-
I received a letter headed "Ministry of Justice" asking for information to be sent to their auditors at the Beaconsfield address. They also referred to a letter sent in March of which I have no trace. I'm not sure how an organisation created on 8 May 2007 could have sent a letter some 2 months earlier.
I phoned the GN and ascertained that the person mentioned worked there but was not present today.
I have since done a post-code search and found that it does indeed relate to Transaction Analysts.
I downloaded the accounts to 30 June 2006 which show a loss of £303,780 on a turnover of £2,025,032 (2005 loss £227,401, turnover £2,468,467). Under the accounting policies section of the accounts there is a paragraph "The directors believe the going concern basis for preparing the financial statements to be appropriate because the company's forecasts indicate that the facilities available from the company's bankers and the agreed terms of loan repayments will result in the company having sufficient financial resources to enable it to meet its cashflow requirements over the next 12 months"
I am very suspicious that such an organisation has links to the MoJ and as such, I am unlikely to respond to their request.
