0845 9006008 - the suggested alternative 0800 731 8888 selct "0" gets to a switchboard who simply give out the 0845 number. No amount of persuasion "it's barred" etc. helped as Shell (or at least "Shield") claims it is impossible to transfer the call. Seems we've been rumbled!

The 0845 9006008 number reaches a call centre in Asia with very poor line quaity, the e-mail generates a German acknowledgement.
