Contact page gives the same freephone number for all types of enquiries:

New Quote: 08000 19 95 19
Customer Service: 08000 19 95 19
Renewals: 08000 19 95 19

Looks like a customer-friendly company to me; 0800 numbers. Where's the 0870 printed/from?  Undecided

RescueMyCar.com is owned by NCI Vehicle Rescue Plc who's website is www.ncionline.co.uk

It gives yet another freephone number....0800 783 6026. Also a fax 01423 507 448.

A quick Google gives 01423 504 689.

Both 0800 numbers and 01423 phone number answers with the same message. I've added them to the database.

Doing a Google search for 0870 901 2999 reveals that the number is used for NCI Renewals.

So it looks like its one of those companies that have freephone number to get business but once you are a customer then you have to use 0870.

Norwich Union generally do a similar thing but I always ring the freephone number instead so maybe just ring NCI's freephone number instead.

www.Rescuemycar.com Geographical request

Hey guys. Can anyone help me with this number. I've done some searching and found nothing i'm afraid.

The number is: 0870 389 1246

Company Address: 2nd Floor, Harrogate House,
                            Parliament Street,
                            Harrogate
                            HG1 2RE

The number is for the Emergency Breakdown department.

I couldn't find this number on their websites, it seems they only give it out once you've become a customer. Not sure if that means it will be impossible to locate a geographical alternative?

I really resent it that they expect me to call an 0870 number from a mobile if i'm stuck somewhere with no alternative!

Any help would be most appreciated!

As you can see, I have joined this to the existing thread which gives some numbers. There is also an entry in the database for RescueMyCar.com. Please advise as to whether any or all of these numbers are suitable for emergency breakdown callouts.

The number i posted is the only one that can be used for emergency breakdown callouts. They only give this number to you when you sign up, which is pretty misleading as nearly all their other numbers are 0800.

It does say that in the event of a breakdown you have to call the 0870 number, so i presume calling any other numbers would result in being given the 0870 number ¬_¬

It's OK. If you don't get a result the first time round, you can always search with a reduced word (rescue for example would have found it).

Please let us know if the provided alternatives work for the 0870 you provided - it if does, we can get that 0870 entered into the database.
