I couldn't seem to find them using the link given.  Which particular 08 numbers cost £2.50 per minute?

On that link, under the section marked Quick Guide to costs, in the Other costs per minute table, it advises -

Please call customer services on 150 for further information about charges for specific numbers starting with 08 or 05

So where please does it mention this £2.50 charge ??

When I open the link, it states "Free-2.50" as highlighted below. The table text is pasted below without formatting.

But how do they get away with not publishing a full list of charges on their website when that info ought to be far easier to access than waiting 20 minutes on hold for one of their dumb customer service operatives.

Having recently updated my comparison of 01/02 call charges vs 084x/087x, I have discovered that T-Mobile are by far the worst offenders with regards lack of pricing information. Orange appears to have conflicting information as to which tariff new PAYG customers are put on, probably brought about by the fact that they are forever changing tariffs.

As has been pointed out, T-Mobile only state a range of prices, something which clearly breaches Ofcom's new regulations that were drawn up a year ago.

Why not complain to Ofcom up to CEO level about this?  Then having received an inadequate reply from Ofcom go to your MP to make a formal complaint to the Parliamentary Ombudsman about Ofcom's repeated failure to fulfil and enforce its principal duty to the UK citizen consumer and repeatedly allowing business to get away with commercial murder.

I asked T-Mobile for a list of the prices of 0870 calls (I am a customer of theirs) and they sent me this leaflet in the post.

It was not very useful, however, since it only said the vague price bracket - i.e. between 50ppm and 250ppm next to 08 numbers, or something like that.

Which is against Ofcom rules so write to Ofcom's Director Of Investigations, David Stewart, asking him to investigate the failure of TMobile to fully disclose all their non geographic call prices on an equal level as call costs to 01/02 numbers.  Ofcom's regulations now require this.
