Bread Card
Jul 20th, 2007 at 8:29am

Hi all

I am looking for a geo number for Bread Card (www.breadcard.com) The only number listed on the website is a 0905 786 0106* (80p a min)
I have emailed their customer service but trying to have dialogue with an 24 hr turnaround email system is very frustrating.

I have some queries about my application that need answering quickly.

Thanks in advance of any help.

Cheers

NGTW Cheesy

Principal Office Main Switchboard:      0191 244 2000      9am - 5pm Mon - Fr

Or get them to call you

Or you could try to call one of the many other affiliate cards they run by looking up their phone number from the respective site.

From the Terms and Conditions of the Bread Card:

The Prepaid Card programme is managed by us, Affinity Cards Limited, Eden House, Chester Business Park, Chester, CH4 9QY (company number 05424151) who operate the Prepaid Card for Newcastle Building Society.

I did not manage to find a geographic number for Affinity Cards, and there is none in the database, but they also run from the same address another prepaid card programme called TalkSport which has an 0870 contact number (cost from a BT landline a tenth of the 0905 number cost). Might be worth trying:

Telephone
0870 734 5156 (Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm)
If you have lost your card or had it stolen please call:
0845 603 2378 (24 hours, 7 days a week).

I have been having problems with loading my BREADCARD and found the e-mail address of Tim Day the Director of Payment Card Solutions (UK) Ltd who handle the BREADCARD account.  His e-mail address is tim AT breadcard.com.  He has been posting at

http://www.moneysupermarket.com/community/forums/t/avoid-the-bread-card-11155.as...

He replied very quickly and passed my problem on to someone at firstprepay.com who then e-mailed me with a real telephone number - 01244 688750

You might like to try this route to get satisfaction from BREADCARD.

Vlad

Breadcard seems to be run by "Payment Card Solutions" and on their contact page it gives a telephone number 020 3137 3420 which may be worth a try!

Hello and welcome to SayNoTo0870.com. I have joined your posting to the existing thread for Bread Card.

In addition to the suggestion made by reserved, see the posting (reply #4) made by Tim Day, the co-founder of Payment Card Solutions (UK) Ltd which operates the Card.
