Severn Trent Water recently supplied water from bowsers following floods in Gloucester Tewkesbury etc. On a radio programme on 5 live a spokesperson for Severn Trent Water advised that they had "lost" a large number of bowsers which they would like to locate. Anyone having any information about the whereabouts of the errant bowsers is requested to dial 0845 *******.  He also stated that bowsers had appeared on ebay so there appears to be a market for them! Also noticed that DEFRA helpline following foot and mouth outbreak is also 0845. It appears that normal geographic numbers are no longer issued (perhaps no longer exist for business / government departmenrs)
