Unknown number - 0871 6224815 (Missed calls) (Read 3,439 times)

springy5 Newbie Offline Posts: 1	Unknown number - 0871 6224815 (Missed calls) Aug 16^th, 2007 at 8:38am 08716 224815 This number was attached to a missed call which appeared on my mobile the other day. I don't really want to phone it as I will be charged, but I am curious as to who or what organisation is using it. I have no other information. Searching with Google on this number drew a blank, however searching for part of the number, 0871 622 4 brought up zillions of travel companies.

Using Codelook from Magenta Systems, this number is operated by Opal Telecomms, part of the Carphone Warehouse Group.

So now you've a choice of two, but I would put a bet on it being the Carphone Warehouse that called you. Did you by any chance buy your mobile from one of the Carphone Warehouse Group ??
Or even the number (if you ported it from another phone) Shocked

It stops hurting when I stop banging it against the wall !!
