Wanna give that a shot and see how you get on?

A simple check with Companies House reveals what Jgxenite found, so I think we should stop messing around with the other address which is TOTALLY WRONG !! Undecided

I wonder why they don't mention it on their other site ?? Undecided

Consequently I wouldn't bet on the 020 geo number reaching them !

This may be a red herring but there was another thread about a Guernsey company who supplies health products:

They have freephone numbers: 0800 107 5757 and 0800 298 9970 but only give a PO Box number for their address (PO Box 325, GY1 2RQ) therefore their actual location could not be checked.

I have an idea that one can ask for the full geographic address from the Post Office. I am sure that I signed such an undertaking when applying for Private Box numbers for my company; for mail handling rather than hiding since you ask.
Such a shame that Oftel refused the same rules for 084 and 087 - but we did ask...

Ok so my Dad has now fallen victim to this apparent scam, for a miraculous healing bracelet offer also from Intramed. I have done all the usual attempts at finding the company and also found the company based in Enfield, who are trading as Fortuna Healthcare. I have also rang the 0870 1201547 number previously mentioned, and first time it rang, but now it tells me it does not exist. It just makes me wonder how many innocen t victims have fallen pray to these scammers.

When I got through to the 0208 number (quite easily i must admit) the chap at the end of the phone told me that I was about the 16th person to ring since this thread started!!! I would imagine he is about to get a lot more than that!! He assured me that the company he is working for is in no way assosciated with the company trading from Guernsey, which again could be cast in doubt, but at least he answered. He suggested I should get in touch with the bank to check whether the cheque had been cashed, (which I am obviously expecting it has) and then contacting trading standards. I wonder how much luck we would have with this. It just goes to show how easy it is to rip innocent victims off these dadys, and it doesn't even need to be a sophisticated scam, but it also goes to show that the scammers have no morals whatsoever, as they are praying on the ill and needy who need the medications they are fraudulently selling.

lesson learned, nothing is as it seems until you can physically confirm it exists.
