West Midlands Police - 0845 113 5000

I've had the misfortune of having to call my local Bournville Police Station TWICE this week after having our car stolen on the monday night and then, separately, having 3 bicycles stolen on thursday afternoon! Angry

Each time I have to go through the not so lo-cost, not local call rate 0845 number !

So I'd be interested if anyone has the direct number for West Midlands Police, 341 Bournville La, Birmingham B30 1QX, 0121 626 4020 - this number listed is dead.

0121 626 4000 doesn't work but I've established that 0121 626 4039 is Victim Support through checking the net but from speaking to the Police Station tonight (spending another 30 mins waiting to get through) they tell me there simply isn't a direct number for their HelpDesk ?

You say that 0121 6265000 and 0121 626 4020 are dead. I've just called both and they answer with the same message. It takes a couple of seconds for them to start ringing, so they might be diverted elsewhere.

The answer "Thank you for calling West Midlands Police." You can enter an extension number or hold for the operator. Huh

For me 626-4020 and 626-4000 both click and then have a continuous tone?

I'm not sure if you misread my post or where you got 626 5000 from - but this might be the jackpot number!!!! Cool

That recorded message is the same as for the 0845 number!!! Will verify this later - many thanks again!

The reason you get NU (number unobtainable) is because they are the wrong numbers. Roll Eyes

In the database we have 0121 687 4070. This is similar to the first and I think I thought they were the same ! This was in the verified database all along.

Also, 0121 626 5000 was unverified, which I've now added to the verified entry. Wink

Sorry! I couldn't have searched the datebase properly (probably just searched Bournville Police Station!) Embarrassed
