Well what a saga. I've got problems with my sky multiroom and have got the sky repair plan.
I rang 01506831781 and after letting the recording go through I was eventually answered after about 12 minutes. They transferred me to Tech Support and after trying a download they advised I needed a replacement box and to ring Domestic & General 08702404142 to arrange a service call and a new box.
I rang 0208 9467777 (as per this site) Got a recording advising the number was not available today but it transferred me to D&G. The gent said they didn't do the call outs and I would have to ring SKY again on 08702404142 (on for 5 minutes). I told him I had rung that number !!!!! and he said I must have pressed the wrong button during the options recording.
I rang back to SKY on 01506831742 and got an India call centre. Bad line and ended up getting cut off after 3 minutes. Rang 01506831802 again gettign an India call centre. I was advised to ring D&G again but after I insisted the lady did then transfer me to Tech Support. I told the next gent of my problem and how many calls I had made and he agreed to contact D&G direct and book a sevice call for me.
Lovely lad, got it all booked for me. The final call I was on for 17 minutes, 20 seconds.
Thank goodness for this site and BT Option 3.
Be persistent and it does work.
