Wrong Number Nuisance Calls (Read 6,239 times)

Wrong Number Nuisance Calls

Please help.  EVERY DAY for the past two weeks I have had automated messages left on my answering machine.  They do not ask for a person, but just ask to be called back on certain numbers.  The first one is 0845 355 0306, and it says that it is 3G the mobile phone provider, even though I do not have a phone with that company.  The second one is Wescot credit services on 0870 902 0560, but I know that all of my bills are up to date, so it cannot be me.

I had a person call, from a similar number to the 3G one, and they asked for someone who used to live with us, but moved out over a year ago.  I explained that he does not live here anymore and gave them a forwarding number.  They have called many times since, and I have told them not to call as I am getting more than fed up, and the messages are still left on my phone EVERY DAY!!!

What can I do?  This has to be harassment!!

Details of 3's management is here.

Be polite, explain the problem and give your contact details so they can look it up. If you have received no written correspondance but are receiving telephone calls, then it suggests that bills will be going elsewhere.

Thanks, I've just fininshed writing an email to three so I hope that works.  I will try the same thing with the other number, whoever they are

The other number, Wescot Credit Services, is a debt collection agency. I suspect that they are both linked and that the debt is owed to 3.
