Can anyone provide a landline number for Construction Skills - they use as a contact 0870 417 6874, which is not listed on this site. Their email addresses return to you 'not posted' so thereby making you use the telephone. This is a big deal at the moment for the building industry - making workers get skills cards and charging premium rates for making appointments to take the tests. This number is listed on a registration form which has incorrect details on it - so need to contact to make changes. Thanks.

I rang the landline number you gave me and you can book the tests through this number but I also need a number for ConstructionSkills, Data Management Unit, Bircham Newton, Kings Lynn, Norfolk, PE31 6RH because when I asked them for this number they quoted me another 0870 number (0870 417 6874) - I asked him for a landline number and he said this was the only one available. This is to make alterations to wrongly recorded information once the tests have been done and they have got some details about you wrong.

No the link is regarding income tax - this department is to do with Health and Safety and registering your skills with the construction industry scheme - anyone who works in the construction industry from January must have passed a health and safety test and received an appropriate card to say so and then they have to pass NVQ or already have City and Guilds for their particular trade.

Hi, I am back on the trail now I have returned from my hol but no success with the 01485-577577 number when I rang it she couldn't put me through to the Construction Skills Data Management Unit and proceeded to give me an 0870 number for them which is already listed on the paperwork. I said I don't want an 0870 number I want a landline number but she said she couldn't give me one. I then asked for a contact email address as the one on the paperwork doesn't work - she gave me the email of nvq.product@cskills.org. I have emailed them and they have responded to my request to amend the incorrect info on the paperwork. So may be this is the route for this particular company, but it's bad order when you can't get a phone number that has a national code.

Nothing whatsoever on the Notice of Registration to the NVQ scheme for the Construction Industry - I have found a card that states"CITB-Construction is working in partnership with CIC & CITB (NI) as the Sector Skills Council for Construction. CITB-ConstructionSkills is a Registered Charity. (Registration Number 264289)!
I have also found a CSCS helpdesk number listed as 01485 578777 - that was listed on the CSCS application form after the H&S test was passed to then register for skills qualification.

You can add it to the database yourself.

Discontinued in what way? Redirection message (please dial another number) / invalid number tone / always engaged?
