I'm trying to find an alternative number for the O2 iphone help line - 0870 607 2302.

But this may not be the best number to call in my case.

My son tried to register an iphone on his 18th birthday.  Form validation said he wasn't 18 yet.  A simple boundary condition that should have been tested.  Incompetent software development.

I've got so far on the 0870 number, but it could take some time and start getting expensive.

Searching for O2 on this site, I found 0113 388 6159 for Online complaints.  Unfortunately this doesn't seem to work any more.

I'll try dropping a note to webmaster@o2.co.uk.  (Just tried it - it bounced)

Looks like the problem for my son will be sorted at midnight - but why should other 18 year-olds be disappointed on their birthday?
