Acorn Stairlifts
Dec 10th, 2007 at 10:46am

Does anyone have a contact number for Acorn Stairlifts , preferrably for their MD?
The only number on the web is a general one that gets through to the helpful helpline, where all
mangers are in permanent  meetings.
Thanks

Can you please read the instructions in the thread at the top of this forum -

** INSTRUCTIONS FOR POSTING A NUMBER REQUEST **

and provide us with any further details, such as their contact details?

jgxenite, I spent some considerable time on the 'net, on the phone, etc BEFORE posting here. In other words, I did all the things suggested in your post.
I do not post often, but when I do it is because I have reached a point where I cannot find any other means of help. Not to waste other peoples valuable time.
So if anyone has a direct phone number for Acorn Stairlifts that puts me through to their MD or equivalent, it would be appreciated. Or if the MD would like to answer this post, that would be a help.
Thanks

In which case you have some information which may be of help to those helping you. Namely the phone number you called, the web address of the company in question, a postal address and anything else you found..... basically all the things listed in the instructions.

It's plain detective work. And the information you have could help others to help you (even if you didn't suceed in locating a number).

I put the address supplied by Heinz into BT Directory Enquiries and found one result:

Quote:
Acorn Mobility Services Ltd Contact Centre
Tel: (01535) 290000
Telecom House Millenium Business Park Station Road, Steeton, Keighley, BD20 6RB

Put the company's name into Google like this brings up some other addresses in and around the Keighley one.

Namely this one on Applegate:

http://www.applegate.co.uk/company/10/02/856.htm

We don't know how up to date it is, but the number rings, although it could be that it diverts to the 01535 number.
