See this thread on MoneySavingExpert regarding 0872 numbers. They are basically the same as 0871 numbers. According to that thread (and presumably the very same Heinz that posts here), 0872 030 will cost you 10p for the first minute, then 10p after if you ring it back.

I think you are probably right and it is a scam to try and get you to call back. My philosophy is if it's urgent and they want you, they'll ring back.

I don't mind helping you with your request as long as you read the instructions!

All 0870 numbers are a scam. Simple. Never ring one back if you get a missed call. Edit I was typing while others were posting. Just ignore this post and pretend it never happened.
