I don't know if anyone else here reads the KPIs that BT publish with their results - but they show just how fast the use of non geographic numbers carried on BTs network is falling..

See Page 6 (or 11/14 in Adobe Reader)  of the BT KPI stats

Surely this is mainly accounted for by the declining use of 0845 dial up ISP numbers (which were huge in volume).

I very much doubt that 0844, 0845, 0870 or 0871 voice based call traffic is declining in any way at all.  In fact probably quite the reverse.
