According to this page, their contact number is +353 (0) 1 231 4400 (so +353 1 231 4400 if calling from the UK). I don't know how expensive calls to RoI are but I suspect there are some call-through providers that will allow you to call it pretty cheaply.

Thanks, I just sent my insurance company (not White Horse, they are the underwriters) an email telling them my query, and hopefuly they will be able answer my question, so I won't have to ring, but if I do, I will report back.

Hi my parents are off on holiday in two weeks and have their travel insurance with the above company. We have been looking for an alternative to the number 0871 664 7995 so that if my mother has to make a call it will not be extremely expensive from a mobile.

The recording on 01 231 4400 says that they are open 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm Monday to Friday.

It is also on 4402 and a number of others. 4410 says that it is extension 210.

I came across this page which gives telephone 01 231 4400 and fax 01 664 3276. Neighbouring numbers to the fax are also for White Horse Insurance.
