The number 0844 580 0555 is answered by a recording which says that Powwownow's Enhanced Access Service number has changed of 0844 473 7373.

It is surely likely to be the case that there is an alternative, but more a case of one is not known to us at present.

I have put in a great deal of time on looking for alternatives for this service in the past (as the previous postings show), yet I have now personal interest; I found the numbers for others to use.

If we are to list a working alternative, then someone else will have to pick up the batten.


It may be worth pointing out that alternative conferencing services are available, some of which are discussed in the Call Providers section and use geographic or 03 numbers.

Many numbers are easier to find than others but some take a lot more time to find. The website allows us all to share numbers we find, thus pooling our efforts.

If no one is prepared to put in the time finding those numbers that take longer to find, then we will have to be content to be without.

That said, in this case, it would appear that the company may be working to disable any published numbers.

Yes, read the previous postings on this (above) and you will see that we've listed a number of alternatives over the years and they've been disabled. If you want to look for another one, then reading the above postings might help you with clues as to where to look.
