Does this company have a website?

I have found a "Rock Solid Kitchens" at www.rocksolidkitchens.co.uk but there appears to be no contact address, no company number. At the bottom of the page it states "Terms & Conditions. All Rights rserved 2007" but I cannot find any terms and conditions.

A check of the registration information for rocksolidkitchens.co.uk gives the registrant's name as Rod Fielding. It was registered in July 2007 and Mr Fielding's address has been omitted as he apparently declared himself as a non-trading individual.

The same website is at www.rocksolidkitchens.com and the contact address given for the registrant of the address is for that of his registrar, AnyWeb Internet Marketing. See here.

My alarm bells are ringing loudly with this company! Shocked

Is this the same company you are referring to?

I wouldn't recoment them! I visited their website [It looks familiar so I think it's the same one] and asked for a quote. I believe the salesman misled me as I bought a kitchen on the understanding that fitting would be £500, but I discovered too late that this wasn't mentioned on the contract. The units were delivered on time but I couldn't check whether it was all their until I found my own fitter and he began work.

In fact there were missing bits and I now keep phoning their customer services - so far with no response but fortunately using a geographical number, so this is free as it comes with inclusive minutes. This of course is how I came to your site but clearly there are much wider concerns with this company.

Any progress with your case? It sounds to me Rock Solid may be one of the many agents for a kitchen and bathroom supplier/wholesaler/factory. Thats my guess.
The operators never answer the calls with the company's name. Sounds like they pay Call Centre to get appointment for their sales reps. Call center no. 01616781629, 01616786954 (Manchester number) No complains yet. http://www.phonespamfilter.co.uk/phones.php/01616786

If you find this situation again with any .uk domain name, then a quick email to nominet@nominet.org.uk soon sorts that out! They do give the registrant an opportunity to immediately cease using the domain for trading purposes, but if they don't do so within a day, they'll remove the non-trading flag and make the address visible.

These use an 0871 service for after sales and leave you hanging for ages. They are based in Evershaw, Oldham. The customer services number is 0871 2717202 ; 7200 and 7201 are also theirs. Any help with a standard number - its costing my elderly parents loads trying to get satisfaction out of this Company.

I have amended the database entry we have with the new name. The number given there and above in this thread is 01925 594320.
