I just wanted to say that I wrote this "just in case" a scenario ever arose over my reasons for choosing to go 0845, I would also like to point out that I will amend my website so to keep customers informed of our local number asap.

When I set up the company I wanted the freedom to be able to move premises + still do, so I got a couple of free 0845 numbers.

I'm not going to get into a debate about the pricing as I myself was a little duped at first too!
"local" and "low call" tend to be exchanged "willy nilly" with these providers.

Essentially I pay nothing for the number but I believe skycomuk charges 4p peak 1p off peak
