I am trying to find out the new geographical number for Friendship Care & Housing, housing association.

Their oldaddress is for

Loughborough Office

68a Leicester Road
Loughborough
Leicestershire
LE11 2AG

Telephone: 01509 217443
Fax: 01509 233889

They moved to Nottingham about 3 weeks ago they have set up this number 0845 608 8110, annoyingly, obviously costs a fortune if you have a lengthy call to make.

Can anyone help with this?

how do people actually try to search for geographical numbers for companies is there a particular search term for them?

I can't seem to find any details for their Nottingham office on my (brief!) look around their website. Could you perhaps provide the address for that?

Might it be worth emailing them, or calling one of their other offices, and asking for an alternative number? Judging by the vast number of geographic numbers they use, they don't appear to be an abuser of non-geographic numbers, so perhaps a polite message saying about the costs incurred in calling an 0845 number might persuade them to release a geographic one instead.

I don't mind helping you with your request as long as you read the instructions!

i'll have to dig out the new addresss they havent changed the address on the website yet, their birmingham office is also moving premises but just to somewhere else in birmingham so i dont know what number that will change to.

i doubt they will give me the geographical number as i'm sure they would want to make money out of people and their hardships. I'll just have to try this site again in a few weeks to see if anything turns up.

Just realised after doing address search that they have moved in with longhurst as they joined longhurst group a couple of years ago.

Trying some nearby numbers to the fax reveals:

0048 Not recognised
0049 Does not receive incoming calls
0051 Rings unanswered
0052 Does not receive incoming calls
0053 Not recognised

The 0845 answers with a recorded message now, which may be perculiar to it. I would try 0115 9860051 when they are open and see what happens.

Please let us know if it works or not.
