May 22^nd, 2008 at 8:59pm My daughter received two texts from a company she has never heard of and certainly never dealt with called zamano. cs@zamano.com - 0845 225 2244. They charged her over £3 for each of the texts they sent, something to do with "hangman". The geographical number is not aailable here at the moment. We would really like to locate this outfit. All help welcomed

They were fined £20k by ICTIS in 2006 for the same sort of thing - see HERE The suggested contact number quoted there is 020 7240 1690 They were still at it earlier this year though - see HERE.

Many thanks for all this help. We are going at them through ICTIS, the North Yorkshire Trading Standards, direct contact by email and request for refund, email to phonepayplus and Sir Alistair Graham in particular. I will let you all know what happens. This must be some scam if they can afford to pay 5 figure fines regularly, and carry on just the same.
