Suggestion
Aug 2nd, 2008 at 7:32pm

On the search.php page you have two fields, both with set values which clear on click, the problem is that when you click them, then type, click away and back on it clears your typed stuffs...

The solution this code below can replace your existing code and basically clears the field and also stops it from clearing next time you click.

onFocus="this.value=''; this.onfocus=null;"

Instead of the current....

onFocus="javascript:this.value = ''"

Also please remove the disable right click code, its really pointless as you can easily get around the view source, and its annoying not to be able to copy and paste code using the context menu.

The solution . . .

You need to pass this to the Forum Admin directly for action.

This has been covered in the past. We both know that you can use
Ctrl-C
to copy &
Ctrl-V
to paste so there's NO NEED for the context menu

Okay, so let me come clean.... I don't understand why you are doing that because its clearly to prevent people accessing the source code and its so easy to circumvent, anyone who wanted to steal your source code (why?!) could easily do so, it didn't take me more than 3 seconds to work out you had that script there and get around it regarding the javascript suggestion. Its just counter intuitive to the user.

I know its your site btw, so don't feel like I am trying to tell you what to do, I am just trying to appeal to improve a site I use a heck of a lot, and finally registered for today!
