First Capital Connect

A lookup on the database against First Capital Connect's 0845 026 4700 comes up with:
0800 058 2844
Train Operator - Customer Care number -
no ticket booking facility - however useful for general enquiries

Unfortunately it's only for disabled passenger enquiries so therefore no good at all for the rest of us. They simply tell you to go away and call 0845 026 4700.
Can anyone suggest a better alternative?

First Capital Connect

PO Box 443
PLYMOUTH

Admittedly this is a PO Box, but it does tell us that they operate from Plymouth. Other First Group train services customer services are also in Plymouth.

A search of the database for first group reveals First Great Western aftersales is 01752 675610 and Hull Trains is 01752 675650.

Try one of those and see if they will deal with your enquiry. Please let us know how you get on.

I got around the problem in a different way. I called National Rail enquiries (using the geo number from the database) and, when the query got too complicated for the agent, they passed my call on straight into First Capital Connect Customer Relations.

First Capital Connect's 0845 026 4700 number has a menu with five options on. The first puts the caller through to National Rail Enquiries. THe other four have alternatives which are now listed in the database.  Wink

First Capital Connect have amened both their Customer Relations and Web Support numbers to 0345.

They are now: 0345 026 4700 and 0344 556 5638 respectively.

Other First Group rail franchises appear to have followed suit...

I will get the database updated accordingly.
