As I have spent a fair amount of time trying to find an alternative for this number, I don't want to throw in the towel now!  (Do other members get obsessed like this when numbers are elusive?)

I'd now appreciate some advice from more experienced sleuths, in case I've missed an obvious source.

This company sells DVDs etc.  The number they give give on a recent catalogue is 0844 557 6733 and their website is www.simplyentertainment.co.uk

Having first searched the SayNO database and the Discussion Forums, this is basically what else I have tried.

According to the About Us section of their web site, I found that Simply Entertainment is part of the Webb Group, a "specialist provider of mail order catalogues".  Only the 0844 number is given under Contacts.

Trawling further through the Simply Entertainment web site I found a postal address for Returns:
Returns Department, Simply Entertainment, Spartan Road, Low Moor, Bradford, BD12 0RY

Further searching on this post code, it looks as though this is on an industrial estate.  (Sharing the post code are Conservatory companies etc) but Webb Ivory DM pops up on Google as the return address for organisations/companies such as Diabetes UK and Norfolk Lavender.

Googling Webb Ivory DM got me this web site: http://www.webbivorydm.com/ with alas, only an 0845 contact number (0845 218 4530) but their fax number gives a geographical clue as it's 01283 506306  However, searching for Webb Ivory, together with 01283 gives a location which shows that the number is a Burton on Trent number i.e. not anywhere near Bradford.  This number was given as part of a news item on a client acquistion and is 01283 566 311. This I think must be the Head Office of the group and I imagine the goods must be dispatched from wherever they're returned to.  Or could this mean they have their call centre in Burton on Trent?

As it's Sunday, I didn't think I'd get any response, and indeed it just gives their opening hours.  Tomorrow I'm going to try ringing and asking them to put me through to the Simply Entertainment order line, but I have a feeling they'll just give me the 0844 number.  

Any suggestions on a next step, or a line to take in my call tomorrow (to press for the geographical number) would be much appreciated.

Search the database for ivory - it brings up some numbers.


Numbers to try are either 01283 566xxx or 01283 5063xx

As referred to in another thread earlier, I am looking for a geo number for this organisation.  The unverified number 01733 231028 (as an alternative for 0844 557 5457 or 0844 573 3866) is not recognised.

The details I have are:

Thanks, sherbert, I had found that but wanted a geo no.  I emailed them at the address on my order confirmation which was customercare@rtentertainment.co.uk but that has bounced back the first time so I have resent it, I will try the Simply Ent email address if it comes back again.  I have asked them to ring me but doubt if they will!

The Where we are page on the Webb Group's website gives three addresses. The Bradford one is the warehouse, which would explain why returns should be sent there, although that doesn't necessarily mean that customers' telephone calls will be answered there.

The head office is at Burton upon Trent (the website gives 0845 218 4530 for that) and Guernsey is home to Webb's offshore warehouse.
