Laithwaites Wine (Direct Wines Ltd) (Read 9,776 times)

dahboulton Newbie Offline Posts: 1	Laithwaites Wine (Direct Wines Ltd) Jan 5^th, 2009 at 10:23am I have just tried getting through to Laithwaites on the 0800 and geographical numbers. It looks as though all the 0800 numbers are now "number not recognised" and all the geographical numbers no longer accept incoming calls.

The number in question is 0800 8562004 which I have removed from all entries.

Laithwaites is also known as Wines Direct which operates other wine clubs such as Sunday Times Wine Club and Nectar Wine Club. I have been through the database and tagged all verified and unverified entries for associated wine clubs with Direct Wines and Laithwaites.

So if you enter either

direct wines

laithwaites

into the company name box, it will return them all.

The address given is:

Laithwaites Customer Services
New Aquitaine House
Exeter Way, Theale
Reading, Berkshire
RG7 4PL

Most of the numbers listed are 01752 which is for Plymouth. Have they moved from there?

The code for Reading is 0118 and there are some of these numbers unverified which start 0118 9030xxx.

When I have more time, I will continue working on these entries. At present all verified entries still have the 01752 numbers listed.

Try some of those 0118 numbers and let us know how you get on.

As they are now closed, those I tried just answer with the same message saying that they are the "Wine Club". For that reason, I have put 0118 9030000 as the alternative for most. If these aren't suitable, then please advise.
