In several cases, eg France (0033), the website list says you can use their 020 3 access number, but if you try, you get told you can't, and must use 0843 instead. If you try 0033 in the box on the left of their site, you get told the 0843 number. That's (currently) only 1p a minute from a BT line, but not the 0p* that they claim. And what the * means is not explained anywhere that I can see. Presumably, * means 'will be free at times when you have inclusive calls to 02 numbers from a landline, and will come out of mobile included minutes'.
How are they making any money from the 020 3 access number? Surely they can only collect the UK termination rate, and have to pay to send the call to Australia or USA or Canada, and pay the termination charge there? Are UK termination rates to 02 numbers that lush?
