Nationwide seems to have adopted a 'nationwide' 0845 system.  I tried to ring my branch in Leamington Spa -given in their Branch Finder as 0845 2660512, and had to endure 3 slow options menus -none of which were relevant to my query about what the bank's Roll Number is.  In total the call lasted over 4 minutes and I finally spoke to a real person in Lancashire (I think)!

Thanks for this -tried putting the o8 number they give into this site's search and got nothing -is it me?

In general, I advise you search by company name as some organisations have many 08xx numbers or change them.

This seems to apply to all local Nationwide numbers now.  Recently needed to speak to the branch in Newport South Wales, the geo number on 01633 now connects to the call centre, so it appears no calls now taken at branch level.
