Hi there, I'm trying to find a number for HSBC Vehicle Finance. Their full address is HSBC Vehicle Finance (UK) Limited, Heathside Park, Heathside Park Road, Stockport, Cheshire, SK3 0RB Tel 0845 344 1000 Fax 0845 344 1088. They say they havent any other numbers but as I have to ring them a lot, its frustrating that they dont know an std number. Hope you can help.

Hello Rob, I've joined your request to another one made a number of months ago.

Putting the post code into Google reveals that this is the address for Lex Vehicle Leasing Ltd. I feel that this is too much of a coincidence that we can't ignore.

There is one other reference to Lex on this forum here. This address is given with telephone number 0161 456 4456. Unfortunately the requestor has said thanks for the help, but hasn't bothered to let us know whether it works as an alternative or not.

Perhaps you can try it and let us know how you get on.

It looks as though we're looking for a number for the Stockport office of Lex Vehicle Leasing.

An old entry from 192.com, cached by Google, gives a fax of 0161 905 4353 for this address. The telephone number is an 0870, but this 0161 number may be a starting point.

I put "lex vehicle leasing" 0161 and found this page which gives:

Lex Vehicle Leasing Ltd
Crossgate House
Cross Street
Sale M33 7FU

Tel 0161 969 0000

Another result shows Lex Vehicle Leasing with telephone 0161 905 4400. This is a direct number for someone at "IBM's public sector business".

You could try 0161 969 0000. Let us know how you get on.

I've searched again and am at a loss other than to suggest 0161 969 0000 which rings unanswered at present. I will be grateful for any feedback on this number.

I suspect that Lex has changed its 01/02 numbers and only publishes 0844 numbers for its offices. Cry

The verified number we had for the Marlow office, 01628 898000, is now not recognised. The number for Stirling, 01786 445444, has a network redirection message to 0870 112 8500. The 0870 112 xxxx numbers have now been changed to 0844 335 xxxx so that Lex can continue to benefit from charges directly from callers. Lips Sealed

I used to pass them when I worked in Altricham; big new modern office block(then!) on the main road . They are definitely not at that address any more; that's not to say the phone number isn't forwarded, though.

0161 9xx is right for that south west corner of 0161. Stockport numbers tend to be in 0161 4xx ranges though.
