Unknown number - 0870 2416243 (Phone bill entry) (Read 6,209 times)

betty Newbie Offline Posts: 2	Unknown number - 0870 2416243 (Phone bill entry) Apr 27^th, 2009 at 3:22pm I need to find an alternative number for 08702416243 as this expensive number appears on my telephone bill and I do not know who it is. I never call these 08 numbers and wish to find out who they are so that I can check if my family are calling this number. Thanks for your help

However this number is 'free' via a BT landline depending on which option you are on. If you have not got a BT landline, one way, is to ask a friend who has and and dial the number at the time when it will be 'free', for you to see who it is.

It is possible that it could be that 'calling home' (you haven't said if the number appears once or multiple times).

My Virgin Media bill showed an operator connected 9 minute call to this number. I deny I or anyone with access to my line made it. Virgin have agreed to credit the appropriate amount
