There are a number of different 'arms' to the AA these days (breakdown, finance, insuance spring to mind immediately) and you don't say which particular part of the organisation you are complaining about.

However, the database (search for "the AA") shows 0800 587 7150 is a number for Customer Services so might be the place to start.

The fax number for complaints is 0161 488 7544, so the complaints dept seems to be in Manchester.

In the database there are lots of numbers for The AA, four of them 0161 with associated freephone numbers. Suggest you try these.

BTW it would have helped if you had disclosed what topic is the complaint about.
