Firstly my email to the support department did elicit a reply in less than 24 hours, so that's one alternative...

However, I also phoned the London number and told the person that I was making a pre-sales enquiry about a Humax device and if she didn't connect me to the Service Department I would take my business elsewhere. This resulted in her taking my name and number and the Service Department then *did* call me back a couple of hours later. YMMV Smiley

I have had a report that support can be reached by calling the main number 020 8326 6000 and asking for support.

Don't select the menu options for support or Humax Direct as all this does is play a message giving the 0844 number.

Yes this worked for me. I had a Freeview PVR that was not HD TV compatible and they put me through to the correct department to effect a return process. This direct line must have been a big saving as I was on "hold" for a fair time.  SmileyThank you.

The new BBC Four HD, CBeebies HD, BBC News HD and Al Jazeera HD aren't available on Freeview in the Brighton area. Whilst this is a generalisation and there may always be good spots, it is the case that people in Brighton in general aren't likely to get these channels.

BBC One HD, BBC Two HD, BBC Three HD, CBBC HD, ITV HD and Channel 4 HD are available in all areas that Freeview is available.

Yes this number 02083266000 worked for me. I asked for Customer Services (for a Freeview recorder issue) and was put straight through.

I tried the 0208 number a few times but was only getting an answerphone. 0344 worked brilliantly.
