Airmiles or scam?

Received a call, went like this:

"This is John from Airmiles. Am I speaking to Mr .... (correct name)?
Yes
I would like to talk about your account. To verify your identity can you please confirm your address?"

I told him I don't give out personal data to people I don't know and put the phone down.

The call came from 08452 068 354 which is not in the database. Does anyone know if this was a scam or was in fact from Armiles?
