This is the government contact centre that handles and dispatches benefits in the West Midlands (no website that I know of)
Apologies if this topic has already been posted- I did run a search which returned no matches
Ive spent months trying to get this number as I obviously cannot afford on benefits to be ringing 0845 nor will the BDC ring you back usually.
I have put in a request under freedom of information but have not received a reply as yet.
Most staff claim they dont know the number or it doesnt exist. The problem seems to be that the 0845 no. links to lots of numbers in many different areas and routes you through to the nearest available.
Is there even, does anyone know, a BDC building in Birmingham?
I found a listing of Cannock BDC dept numbers on my Job centre advisor's desk and so have added them to the database. I was forced to sneakily copy them down while she was busy. However I could not get all departments and have not yet been able to check the numbers.
Adress of the BDC is: St stephens St, Birmingham B991AE the 0845 no is 08456088676
Does anyone else have a number? or an idea for locating one?
